Today, Ms Valbona Bogujevci, UNDP Assistant Resident Representative/Programme Coordinator, and the Rule of Law project team delivered personal protective equipment to the Agency for Free Legal Aid to enhance their services during the pandemic. The packages contain hand sanitizers and masks for all seven Legal Aid regoinal staff, and the vulnerable population receiving legal aid assistance Kosovo wide.
Ms. Bogujevci recognized the Agency's substantial contribution in providing free legal aid for citizens in need, including specifically for the marginalized groups. “UNDP will continue its long standing support and contribution to Kosovo’s Legal Aid, and ensure that no one is left behind”, she emphasized. While accepting the donation, on behalf of the Agency, Ms. Anita Kalanderi, Director of the Agency for Free Legal Aid, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for UNDP’s continuous support including in times of crisis such COVID-19.
