The Second Human Development Spring School in Kosovo
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and College Universum started on 15 April the second edition of the sustainable Human Development School in Kosovo and the region.
Selected students from all Kosovan Universities are participating in a ten day course with the main purpose of studying the impact of mobility on the current and evolving trends in human development. During the ten day course, local and international experts and field professionals, including representatives of the Kosovo government, civil society, and Academia, will lecture on the Mobility as a Force for Development including its obstacles regarding Visa Liberalization in Kosovo.
The course consists of practical exercises and students will have at their disposal an electronic library and on-line forum for discussions to be moderated by thematic facilitators. At the end of this year’s edition, three best Research Papers will be awarded.
Present at the opening ceremony were the Minister of Diaspora, Mr. Ibrahim Makolli, UNDP and Universum high officials and representatives of academia, civil society and Kosovo institutions.
