Our Funding and Delivery
Where our money comes from and what we spend it on?
UNDP works in Kosovo entirely on the basis of strategic partnerships with local and international institutions. In particular, UNDP works closely with the Ministry of European Integration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Local Government Administration, the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Communities and Returns, the Kosovo Judicial Council, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the Kosovo Judicial Institute, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, the newly established Millennium Challenges Office, and with many municipalities across Kosovo.
Our international bilateral partners include Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Denmark, Japan, USAID, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Sweden. We are grateful for their continued confidence and support. In addition, UNDP engages in regular multilateral dialogue and coordination with the European Union, EULEX, OSCE, the World Bank, and the IMF. UNDP also cooperates closely with all UN programmes, funds and agencies present in Kosovo, as well as with UNMIK. Finally, we work with and through a diverse group of local and international civil society organizations (CSOs) towards the achievement of shared objectives.
